Perth Stadium is set to assume control facilitating obligations from the notable WACA ground after the International Cricket Council (ICC) affirmed the recently constructed scene to have every single worldwide arrangement, Cricket Australia (CA) said on Thursday.
The stadium will now turn into the fundamental setting for cricket in Western Australia, and the fifth one-day universal amongst Australia and England on January 28 will be the primary major donning occasion held at the ground.
Cricket Australia’s CEO James Sutherland in the question and answer session:
“The stadium is a heavenly resource for the territory of WA and its games fan. We particularly anticipate bringing this huge Australia-England one-day match to Perth to the Stadium on 28 January.”
ICC coordinate arbitrator Richie Richardson said the stadium was “world class” after an investigation. He stated: “The new Perth Stadium is a superb, invigorating, world class stadium, and I have no faltering in suggesting that the setting is endorsed for arranging every one of the three organizations of universal cricket.”
The WACA, which has facilitated cricket matches since the mid 1890s, will be transformed into a boutique ground with a limit of 10,000-15,000 by the nearby board.
