Ravindra Jadeja’s heroics with the ball in the fifth Test against Britain have seen him move into second place behind India partner Ravichandran Ashwin in the ICC rankings.
Jadeja place Britain in a turn on the last day in Chennai as he asserted vocation best Test figures of 7-48 to finish an innings-and-75-run triumph and a 4-0 arrangement triumph.
That took his aggregate for the match to 10 wickets, and 26 for the arrangement – just two behind lead spinner Ashwin. Thus Jadeja moves inside eight purposes of Ashwin at the highest point of the Test knocking down some pins rankings, just the second time two Indian players have possessed the initial two spots.
India captain Virat Kohli stays second in the batting rankings subsequent to being named man of the arrangement, the 28-year-old sitting 43 focuses behind Australia partner Steve Smith.
KL Rahul and Karun Nair both achieved profession best positions after their dazzling thumps in Chennai, Rahul hitting 199 while Nair pillaged an unbeaten 303 in just his third Test innings.
