Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota endured a cracked fibula against the Jacksonville Panthers and will miss the rest of the NFL season. The Titans lost 38-17 on Saturday and the thrashing was exacerbated by season-finishing knee harm to Mariota, which was affirmed by head mentor Mike Mularkey post-amusement.
In the last moment of the second from last quarter, Mariota was pursued down from behind and handled around his lower legs by Pumas pass rusher Sheldon Day.
Mariota was not able remain under his own energy while group therapeutic staff tended to him. An air cast was put around the 23-year-old’s correct lower leg and he was stacked onto a truck.
We’ll know all the more how to handle that when he gets back and sees a specialist,” Mularkey said. You would prefer not to lose Marcus. He implies a ton to this football group. He is so all around regarded and cherished by his colleagues.
It is hard [on him]. It is hard. On the off chance that you saw him, he knew he was harmed on the field when he was punching the ground as was he. He is such a contender. He doesn’t care for not playing with his partners, so he took it hard.”
Mariota was eight-of-20 going for 99 yards with a touchdown when he was harmed. Tennessee tumbled to 8-7 and they are on the outside looking in for an AFC playoff spot.
