Shoaib Malik farewell
ICC Cricket World Cup(CWC-2019): Pakistan’s best all-rounder Shoaib Malik has announced goodbye to Test cricket in 2016. The Pakistan all-rounder, who left the Pakistan Cricket team’s World Cup mission at Lord’s on Friday (July 5th), said it was a good one.

In the current ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, due to repeated failures, he was kept out of the eleven in the last few games. Instead, Haris Sohail has got a lot of opportunity. Several effective innings came from his bat.

On retirement, Shoaib said, ‘I have no regrets. But I have adapted a bit more in the batting order. I was batting where the team wanted. I have been excluded from the team many times, I was out of international cricket for several years. I have played for almost 20 years. But here (in the World Cup), I was a little frustrated to miss me just two matches.’

During the World Cup, Shoaib Malik has to face severe criticism. Especially before the match against India, Sania Mirza and some of her teammates took part in her dinner before she had to face in private attacks. Unfortunately, the incident came in front of him when he had a call against India, soon after. Then the team also lost the place.

In Pakistan’s 284 ODI matches, he scored 7,534 runs, average 34.55. But the World Cup he will want to forget. Because, now, in three matches, he has scored just 8 runs with two calls. However, against England, he got 1 wicket.

Owning 35 Tests and 111 Twenty T20 Internationals, the only player to be inducted in the 20th Century (1999) is the second player to play. The second is West Indies star Chris Gayle.
